To serve anyone on Hatteras Island who is unable to prepare nutritious meals, has no one to help with meal preparation, requires short term assistance while recovering from an illness or medical condition or needs long-term meals.
What We Do:
HIM is an all-volunteer organization. We work together to enhance the quality of life for our recipients. Through meal delivery and regular contact with our caring volunteers, we positively impact health, independence, and connectivity.
We Need Your Help:
HIM delivers nearly 9,000 meals every year. The cost to feed one recipient for a week is $35. Your donations allow us to provide a safety net for some of the most vulnerable residents of Hatteras Island.
